AGATA SLATER

Agata currently holds a position as Blockchain Consultant at IBM and leads IBM’s blockchain practice for Central and Eastern Europe. She is also a vice president of the Polish Blockchain Association.

Before joining IBM Agata coordinated and managed several blockchain startup projects as a founder and advisor. Since 2017 she has been involved in education and community building around blockchain and related technologies. She frequently appears as a guest lecturer and a speaker at conferences, webinars and university courses, and writes blog posts and articles related to blockchain. Her core areas of interests include: blockchain for business, business model and value design, self sovereign identity, web 3.0.

 In 2023 she was selected as one of the 251 Strong Women in IT.
