If you had told me in January of last year that I would be working in the IT industry and taking on a leadership role within a team, I would probably have laughed and dismissed it as a good joke.

Today, however, marks my 11th month working as a Scrum Master at MasterBorn, where we create products for the US market.

It all started innocently with research on the role of a Scrum Master and the concept of scrum, IT project management, and team management. Soon after, with strong conviction that this was my path, I became a participant in a bootcamp organized by Future Collars.

The decision to change industries has been one of the best in my life. Today, I thrive in my new role, continually develop, and, although I’m aware of the vast amount of learning still ahead of me, I approach it with great excitement and can’t wait to see what’s next!

Previously, for 5 years, I was connected with the insurance industry, working as an insurance specialist, where I serviced individual and corporate clients daily. I also had the opportunity to participate in developing or streamlining insurance processes.

On a personal note, I’m a lover of crime, psychological, and business books, diverse music (ranging from pop and rock to film scores), and I love writing my own content on LinkedIn!
