Head of Poland Technology Operations / Point72
Maciej Olejnik serves as the Head of Poland Technology Operations at Point72 Poland, where he is responsible for the operational management of the company’s Poland Technology Teams and organizational transformation and change management.
Prior to joining Point72, Maciej spent nearly 7 years at UBS, where he held the position of CDIO Technology Poland COO and Culture Product Owner and has expanded his experience in software development life cycle and Scrum methodologies. In the past he has also worked in the UK as Delivery Director for CGI – an international IT service provider and as a Service Desk Operations Manager for Capgemini. His career also includes experience in project management for Onet.pl and providing technical training for Ericsson.
With over 20 years of international experience, Maciej has a strong background in Operations Management, Program & Project Management, Service Delivery, Team and People Management, Client Engagement Management, Technical Support, Service Desk and Contact Centre, Customer Care and Communication, Business Development, Interim Management, Consultancy and Advisory, and Mentoring. He has experience in management, transformation, and delivery of large IT programs. Focused on achieving great client experience and improving efficiency by building business relationships and understanding objectives, Maciej empowers and manages diverse teams through open communication, clear definition of objectives, accountability, and delegation. He is results-oriented and data-driven, with a strong belief in the value of continuous learning and development.
Maciej holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology In his free time, Maciej enjoys cycling, travel and playing guitar.
